Netflix

Ideas that grab you, for shows that do the same.

  • We’ve been fortunate to work with Netflix on the design and marketing of two shows so far.

Archive 81, a Netflix series about an archivist who takes a job restoring damaged videotapes from 1994 and gets pulled into the vortex of a mystery involving the missing director and a demonic cult. We were brought in to design the title logo and key art for the series.

The series rose to the number 1 spot on Netflix as the most watched series in the US and globally within 24 hours of its release. Our work was also featured in the Graphis Design Annual 2023.

Netflix then brought us Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities – a meticulously curated collection of eight horror to-be classics, brought to life on the screen by some of the best directors in the genre.

Working with Netflix, the show’s producers, and Guillermo del Toro, we helped create the identity for the show – offering guidance on photography and visual styling. We also developed the key art poster concept, featuring a look into the mind of one of the world’s most influential directors.
